A new chapter in digital education for construction
We are proud to announce that on December 1, 2025, the e-COIPCIC project (e-Compendium for Improving Professional Competences in Construction) officially began. This initiative, carried out under the Erasmus+ program, is a direct continuation and ambitious development of the success of our previous project – IPCIC.
Why e-COIPCIC?
The construction sector across Europe is facing a severe shortage of skilled workers, especially in finishing trades. Our response to this challenge is the digital transformation of vocational education and training (VET). We aim to provide students, teachers, and professionals with modern tools that make learning a trade more attractive, practical, and accessible from anywhere in the world.
What will we build over the next 24 months?
The e-COIPCIC project is not just about theory, but above primarily practical Open Educational Resources (OER) that we will provide free of charge:
- Integrated e-learning platform: A modern heart of the project where interactive training modules will be hosted.
- New manuals and modules: We will develop materials for the following professions: painter, wallpaper fitter/decorator, and cladder.
- Finishing Works Technician Module: In cooperation with the Warsaw University of Technology (WUT), a unique module on the organization, control, and cost estimation of works will be created, allowing students to obtain full technician-level competences.
- Instructional movies: High-quality video materials presenting the execution of construction works step-by-step.
- Improving digital skills: We will prepare special guides for students and teachers to help them navigate the digital world of education effectively.
International Partnership
The project’s success is guaranteed by an experienced consortium of seven partners from Poland, Turkey, Italy, and Lithuania, led by the Polish Association of Building Managers (PSMB). The team includes leading technical universities, vocational training centers, and experts from the construction industry.
Continuing the success of IPCIC
The e-COIPCIC project fully utilizes and digitalizes the achievements of the IPCIC project (manuals for drywall fitters, plumbers, and tilers), transforming them into interactive online courses. This creates a complete, digital compendium of knowledge that realistically responds to the needs of the modern labor market.
Stay tuned for updates! We will soon be sharing the first results of our work on the platform and new teaching materials.
